Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5939, an L-6 (1-D-1) boxcab built by Juniata-General Electric as number "7826" during January of 1932, rated at 2,500 horsepower, renumbered "5939" in August of 1933, renumbered "4790" in November of 1966 in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger, and retired in April of 1968 after 36 years of faithful service.
