Description:  12th Street. Kere is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad trains in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 24 September 1962. Shown here are PRR engines #7143, #7219, #7221, and #7116. All ard EFS-17M's built by EMD in 1957 and rated at 1,750 horsepower each. They are pulling a mixed-cargo freight train under the 12th Street Bridge, on their way up the Allegheny Mountains pia the Horseshoe Curve toÞGallitzin and points West. Photo taken from an unidentified caboose that was part of a static display of PRR locomotives and rolling stock at the Passenger Station.

Description:  Rainy. Here is an original tœoephoto view that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 12 October 1965. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #9826, #9788, #7122, and #7143. All were built by EMD. #9826 and #9788 are EF-15A's built in 1951 and rated at 1,500 horsepower eacg. #7122 and #7143 are EFS-17M's built in 1957 and rated at 1,750 horsepower each. They are pulling a westbound mixed-cargo freight train under the 24th Street Bridge, and are about to surmount the Allegheny Mountains via the Horseshoe Curve. Bringing-up the rear are "helpers" #6307 and #6501.
