Description:  Here is another 1924 Alco-Richmond built "Mikado" sitting near the roundhouse in the Chicago, IL, yard. Alco-Richmond, 1924 Specifics - K-2 class, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 28x30" cylinders, engine weight of 358,000 lb, tractive effort of 63467 lb, scrapped in the early 1950's. No exact date was given for this photo nor was a photographer listed but it appears similar to several taken in the area from the C.W. Jernstrom collection.
