C&O 2-8-2 #1192 - Chesapeake & Ohio  Contributor's Pick!       
Built by Alco in 1924, this K-2 class Mikado had 63" drivers, produced 200 psi boiler pressure and generated 63,467 lbs of tractive effort. By 1952, it was scrapped to make room for the diesel generator. A mighty looking brute with a meancing face! Forrest Trittenbach photo, Date is approximate.
