This is called a CPL. It's a REAL signal, unlike these "traffic signals" that are out there now.         
This is the west end of Reels Mill siding, the control point named, accurately, West Reel. Lots of fond memories of CPL's from my younger railfanning days. B&O's were the best, but PRR/N&W's were classy in their own right.
