This is the west end of Reels Mill siding, the control point named, accurately, West Reel. Lots of fond memories of CPL's from my younger railfanning days. B&O's were the best, but PRR/N&W's were classy in their own right. |

I'm standing within the limits of the Frederick Jct. control point. Frederick Jct. is a big wye and you can see the eeast leg in the background. For many years there was an old B&O/Chessie boxcar without trucks stored in the middle of the wye here for MOW supplies, but as you can see, everything has been cleaned up. |
