This loco was built by Alco-Schenectady in July of 1917 as Erie 4-6-2 Pacific #2912. In 1927 an Elesco feedwater heater was added along with a stoker. In 1940, a larger tender holding 24 tons of coal and 16,500 gallons of water was added. After nearly 31 years of service to the Erie RR, it was scrapped at the Eire Yards inMeadville, PA, on 1/14/1948 Original specs - K-2-a class, 77" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 27x28" cylinders, engine wt of 301,800 lb and tractive effort of 45,065 lb.
