SLSF 2-8-0 #959 - St Louis-San Francisco         
Sitting amid a yard filled with spare parts is this Consolidation built by ALCo-Dickson in September of 1902 as St Louis, Memphis & Southeastern #273. The loco was later absorbed into the Firsco roster as SLSF 959 in 1903. After 45 years of service, the loco was scrapped in September of 1947 Specs - class 270/956, 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 21x28" cylinders, engine weight of 174,500 lb, tractive effort of 36,800 lb.
