SFM. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Enola, Pennsylvania, on 8 October 1956. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #6715 and another locomotive whose number is not recorded. #6715 is an M-1B (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an M-1A during April of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B by 1953, and retired in September of 1959 after 29 years of faithful service. |
