| Huntingdon. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train East of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, during October of 1965. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #2428, #2530, and another unit whose number is not recorded. #2428 is an AF-25 built by the American Locomotive Company in 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. #2530 is a GF-25 built by General Electric in 1964 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. They are pulling an eastbound mixed-cargo freight train. A portion of US Route 22 is visible on the right. |
