| On exhibition in the Lehigh Valley Sayre, PA, yards is this 1917 Baldwin built Santa Fe type locomotive, LV 2-10-2 #4028. Note the young boy in knee pants posing on the front step of the loco. The loco was based at Manchester for most of its service time. In March of 1951, the loco met the scrapper's torch. Specifics - R-1 class, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 20x32" cylinders, engine weight of 370,000 lb, tractive effort of 72,620 lb. This locomotive was scrapped sometime between 1948-51.
