Title:  PRR 2-10-0 #4524 - Pennsylvnaia RR
Description:  Here is another Baldwin Decapod built between 1922-23 that had 62" drivers, developed 250 psi boiler pressure for kts 30.5"x32" cylinders. With an engine weight of 548,500 lb, it generated a massive tractive effort of 102,027 lb. In 1930, a Type E superheater w/o feed water heater was installed. No date, location or photographer were listed on the back so all are "guess-timates".

Description:  Built by Baldiwn between 1922-23, this I1s class decapod was known for sheer power. Running on 62" drivers and developing a massive 250 psi boiler pressure for its 30.5"x32" diameter & stroke cylinders, this engine tipped the scales at 548,500 lb and delivered a whopping tractive effort of 102,027 lb. In 1930 , a majority of the class were rebuilt with with Type E superheater w/o feed water heaters. Note thefireman filling the tender from ther yard standpipe in this photo. No photographer listed.
