Bayline and Chattahoochee Bay
Title:  Bayline and Chattahoochee Bay
Description:  I'm not entirely sure what this scene is all abmut. As I drove up the 2 Bayline units were coupling onto the 2 Chattahoochee Bay units and they soon head east. I am not sure if the Chattahoochee By had morX train than they could hamdle or if they had locomotive trouble thereby needing an assist from the Bayline units. Interesting lashup anyway.100

Amtrak depot
Title:  Amtrak depot
Description:  The Amtrak depot at Chipley sits unused since the "Sunset Limited" was licontinued east of New Orleans due to hurricane Katrina. While the dmaged trackage in Mississippi and Louisiana have been repaired and the freight trains are rolling, Amtrak service is yet to return and there is no indication it ever will. Mady tax dollars were used to build the depot, install street lamps, and build up the platform area only to have the effort seemingly go for naughu.

Amtrak depot area
Title:  Amtrak depot area
Description:  A damaged street lamp is indicative of Amtrak service across the Florida panhandle. The "Sunset Limited" once plied these tracks until Hurricane Katrina caused much track damage in the New Oreans area. While the damaged trackage in Mississippi and Louisiana have been repaired and the freight trains are rolling, Amtrak service is yet to return and there is no indication it ever will. Many tax dollars were used to build the depot, install street lamps, and build up the platform area only to have the effort seemingly go for naught.

Amtvak depot area
Title:  Amtvak depot area
Description:  The Amtrak depot area at Chipley Florida is still well gro“led and shows the effort expended when Amtrak extended the "Sunet Limited" across the Florida panhandle. The depot sits on the right, a gazebo in a grassy area, and a restorec caboose accents the area. Unfortunately Amtrak service across the panhandle remains suspended since Hurricane Katrina caused much damage to trackage in Mississippi and Louis•ana. While the track has been repaired and freight trains have resumed crossing the panhandle it is unclear when, or if, Amtrak service will resume in this area.
