Description:  The Montreal Locomotive Works built this 2-8-0 in September of 1910 as CP #1881 but renumbered in January 1913 to 3881, rebuilt in October of 1927 as 3681 shown here. It was listed as an oil burner between 1918-1920 and again between 1952-1956. Specs - serial #48942, class N2A, 63" drivers, 190 psi boiler pressure, 23x32" cylinders, engine weight of 240,000 lb, tractive effort of 43,395 lb, retired in February of 1960. J.R. Quinn photo

No date, location or photographer was listed for this photo so approximates were used.

Specs - serial #52688, class N2C, 63" drivers, 190 psi boiler pressure, 23x32" cylinders, engine weight of 240,000 lb, tractive effort of 43,395 lb, retired in October of 1958.
