Working as a switcher in the yard in McAdam, New Brunswick is this 2-8-0 Consolidation built by the Montreal Locomotive Works as CP #1862 in August of 1910. Renumbered to 3862 in September 1912, it was rebuilt in June of 1929 and renumbered to 3662 as shown here. Specs - serial #48870, class N2A, 63" drivers, 190 psi boiler pressure, 23x32" cylinders, engine weight of 240,000 lb, tractive effort of 43,395 lb, retired in November of 1958. S.K.
