Both are AS-16M road switchers built by the American Locomotive Company in April of 1951 and rated at 1,600 horsepower each. #8907 was retired in October of 1967, while #8909 made it into the Penn Central era as number "5409." Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5962, a BS-6A switcher built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in March of 1948 and rated at 660 horsepower. Partially visible at the right is PRR engine #5883, an EP-20 built by GM-EMD in April of 1949 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. The number of the "NB" Class cabin car is not recorded.
