Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken during a railfan excursion in Bay Head Junction, New Jersey, on 11 July 1954. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #830, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during 1917 and retired in April of 1958. Also visible on the right (L to R) are portions of PRR diesel-electric engines #5883 and #5882; both are EP-20's built by GM-EMD in 1949 and rated at 2,000 horsepower each. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by George Menge that was taken in Orangeville, Maryland, during November of 1962. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5962, a BS-6A switcher built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in March of 1948 and rated at 660 horsepower. Partially visible at the right is PRR engine #5883, an EP-20 built by GM-EMD in April of 1949 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. The number of the "NB" Class cabin car is not recorded.
