Album Info:Here are 22 duplicate 35mm color slides of Pennsylvania Railroad steam passenger locomotives. The photographer's name, the locomotive number(s), the date, and the location are cited when they're specified on the slide mount. I purchased most of these slides from one merchant during the course of three eBay auctions during late November, 2018.

Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5712, a G-5S (4-6-0) "Ten-Wheeler" built in Juniata during September of 1924 and retired in August of 1949 after 25 years of faithful service. It is pulling a 3-car commuter train out of Chicago on a steamy August afternoon.

Description:  SPM. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken near South Amboy, New Jersey. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1453, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during July of 1917 and retired in September of 1956 after 39 years of faithful service. In this context, it's pulling a seven-car passenger train on the New York & Long Branch line. "Faster than a speeding bullet!" The photographer's name and the date are not recorded.
