Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide (converted to B&W) via Al Chione. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4415, an E-44 (C-C) electric built by General Electric in July of 1961, rated at 4,400 horsepower, and retired in February of 1984 after 23 years of faithful service. Newark. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train near Newark, Delaware, during August of 1965. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #4415 and #4435. Both are E-44's built by General Electric; #4415 was built in 1961, but #4435 was built in 1962. They are pulling a southbound mixed-cargo freight train. This photo taken near the three-track grade crossing at Milepost 35.

All are E-44 (C-C) electrics built by General Electric and rated at 4,400 horsepower each. #4415 was constructed during July of 1961. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Electrified Operations On The Pennsy" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (791-10).
