Description:
Aziz. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in South Amboy, New Jersey, c. 1955. The photographer is not identified. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5348, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1918 and retired in October of 1956. Partially visible at the left is PRR engine #4741, a P-5A (2-C-2) electric built by Baldwin-General Electric in March of 1933, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in October of 1964.

Here is page three of a five-page cover article by Frederick Westing entitled "What's New Under Pennsy Pantographs." It was published originally in the June 1958 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 47. Bottom Photo, Partial Caption: "Box-cab P5 electric 4741 holds down the head end of NY-8." Photo by Don Wood. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railrpad engine #4741, a P-5A (2-C-2) electric built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in March of 1933, rated at 3,750 horsepower, ane retired in October of 1964 after 31 years of faithful service.

Description:
DMP-2. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Enola, Pennsylvania, on 8 July 1962. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4769 and #4741. Both are P-5A (2-C-2) electrics rated at 3,750 horsepower each. #4769 was built by General Electric in October of 1932 and retired in April of 1965, while #4741 was constructed by Baldwin-G.E. in March of 1933 and retired in October of 1964. Produced and distributed by Charly's Slides. (#2 of 20)
