The two crews made a faster swap than I had anticipated which kinda threw me off, but I managed to get parked in time to get the northbound version of the LSL departing the siding at Tremont City. Figuring Id have to meet a wall when it came to good leaders at some point, I was blessed with yet another surprise as one of the Australian SD50s was on the front. Not only that, but it was the one I hadnt shot leading yet. The train departs Tremont City by some DT&I codeline. |

The LSL received a signal almost immediately after the tamper cleared up, so I hurried to the Quincy High Bridge over the Miami River. Unfortunately, this is pretty much a drone only shot unless youre willing to go wade in the river for a bit. Its so weird to look at older photos from this same location and see that this area was completely clear at one time! |

The LSL rounds the bend into Saint Johns, OH. This has always been a massive bucket list shot for me. I am sitting on the crest of a hill by the road that parallels the tracks while the tracks basically stay level. There arent a lot of shots like this in this part of the state. This just happens to be a unique scenario. The code line polls certainly add to it! |
