Description:  Malinowski. Here is duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Robert R. Malinoski that was taken just West of the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 5 June 1965. Shown here are four diesel-electric locomotives climbing the East Slope of the Allegheny Mountains with a Pennsylvania Railroad TrucTrain that stretches all the way around the Curve and out of sight to the right. In the lead is #2537 and three more units whose numbers are not recorded. #2537 is a GF-25 built by General Electric in March of 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. Visible in the middle distance is Kittanning Run, route of the famed "Kittanning Indian Trail." ("PrrFan18n")

Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #2243, #2537, and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. #2243 is an EF-22 built by GM-EMD in May of 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. #2537 is a GF-25 built by General Electric in February of 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. Note the presence of "Radio Equipped" labels and the corresponding lack of Train Phone antennae.
