WIL-ALT-65. Here is an original photo that I took during a trip on Pennsylvania Railroad passenger trains from Wilmington to Altoona during August of 1965. Shown here is PRR engine #4410, an E-44 built by General Electric during April of 1961. It is pulling a southbound mixed-cargo freight train through the North Philadelphia Station.

Description:
Byerly. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Fred Byerly that was taken near Enola, Pennsylvania, c. 1966. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (R to L) is PRR engine #4410 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are E-44 (C-C) electrics built by General Electric and rated at 4,400 horsepower each. #4410 was constructed in April of 1961. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Electric Railroading ~ Penn Central and Pennsylvania Lines" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (868-10).
