PRR 7186, EFS-17M, 1965
Title:  PRR 7186, EFS-17M, 1965
Description:  Slope to Works. Here is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad trains between SLOPE and WORKS Towers in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 06 June 1965. Shown here (L to R) is PRR engine #7186 and two B-units whose numbers are not visible. All were built by EMD. #7186 is an EFS-17M built in 1957 and rated at 1,750 horsepower. They are pulling a westbound mixed-cargo freight and are about to pass under the 12th Street Bridge. Note the on-coming ore train and the two coal trains on the right. The PRR's Freight Station is also visible on the left in the middle distance.
