Title:
CBQ 125A
Description:
An A-B-B-A set of F3 diesels gets road grime washed off in Galesburg, Illinois, on a sunny October 1959 day. F3A 125-A must have been the trailing unit of the set, as the engines coupler cover is still open (and lead unit 117-A had its coupler cover closed). Burlingtons freight F-units wore this simple, yet attractive, light gray scheme, while the passenger Fs were painted silver. (Frank "Woody" Woodburn photo, Craig Walker collection)
