| Description: |
This westbound Southern Pacific transfer run was in New Orleans, on its way from the CSX’s GENTILLY YARD to the SP’s AVONDALE YARD. It was stopped on the Norfolk Southern’s BACK BELT at Marconi Drive and was powered by GP35 6646, GP9R 3301, B30-7 7859 and GP38-2s 4830 and 4802. The front portion of the train consisted of stack cars which had been loaded with Sea-Land containers at GENTILLY. |
