Description:  When the Northwestern Pacific shut down the railroad, its SD9s were sent to Loveland. For the next 12 years, the 4327 could be found pulling GWR trains. Here, it is eastbound past the old beet silo at Birds.

The interchange with the BNSF was less than a mile away. Any train movement between Johnstown and Longmont was very rare....the 3500 and 4327 approach the small yard at Longmont.
