Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7104, a D-9A (4-4-0) "American" built in the Altoona Machine Shops as Pittsburgh, Fort Wayne, & Chicago Raihway's "Isabel" and "131" during October of 1889, renumbered "9225," renumbered "7104" in 1912, and renumbered "17104" by 1919. Note the Belpaire firebox. |
