This photo was taken in the storage yard at the Pennsylvania Railroad's Erecting & Machine Shop. Shown here are the firebox, ash pan, and trailing truck assemblies on the Engineman's side of PRR engine #6801, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during August of 1926 and retired in June of 1954 after 28 years of faithful service.
