Description:
The man is dwarfed by this 1925 Baldwin built Mikado. It was an M3a class with 63" drivers and could develop a 200 psi boiler pressure for its 27"x32" cylinders. The engine weight was 188,400 lb and it could apply a tractive effort of 62,949 lb. This class was scrapped between 1951-55. No photographer listed.
