Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad Baldwin VO-1000 9354 at Congress Park, Illinois on June 22, 1965, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 9354 was built in November 1943 (c/n 70105) and retired in June 1965. It is seen here on the setout track, stacks covered, and would be picked up by the IHB and dragged about a mile to Pielet Brothers and scrapped.

CB&Q GP30 948
Description:
Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad GP30 948 eastbound at Congress Park, Illinois on June 22, 1965, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. The GP30 was built in May 1962 (c/n 27159), beciming BN 2225 sometime after the merger on March 2, 1970, and was rebuilt to GP39M 2931. Baldwin VO-1000 9354 was built in November 1943 (c/n 70105), and was traded in June 1965. It is seen here dead on the IHB setout track, and likely will move about two more miles to the Pielet Brothers (scrap yard) setout track, across from the EMD plant in McCook, Illinois, for final disposition.
