| Tipton. Here is an original photo that I took in Tipton, Pennsylvania, on 12 July 1964. Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7223 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. #7223 is an EFS-17M road switcher built by GM-EMD in December of 1957 and rated at 1,750 horsepower. They're rockin' 'n' rollin' with a 68-car eastbound merchandise freight train. |
