| This is another case of a blurry photo obscuring the number of a unit, in this case because of too much mist in the air (it was quite gloomy and rainy that day). This was, however, almost certainly NOT officially a UP coal train, as at that time Conrail was leasing foreign (non-CR) motive power, in a foreshadowing of future practice. The date on this photo, as on my other Berea photos, is a wild guess. |
