Close up view of the engineer window of this high nose GP7 painted in Soo Line colors by its owner, the Minnesota Transportation Museium who runs the Osceola & St Croix Valley Rwy with the reporting mark as MNTX. The toursit train run by the Museum uses the former Soo Line trackage at Osceola, WI, now owned by Canadian National. We enjoyed the trip through the fall colors down to the St Croix River and into the William O'Brien State Park in Minnesota. The vintage cars used by the tourist line are a diverse group from commuter cars to elegant diners to an RPO combo car. |
