Here is a photo via Charles E. Winters that was taken in Crestline, Ohio, on 1 August 1949. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6180, a Q-2 (4-4-6-4) "Duplex" built in Juniata during March of 1945 and retired in December of 1953. Partially visible at the right is PRR engine #5453, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" constructed by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in March of 1927 and retired in February of 1949. Gary Mittner Collection. |
