MILW 2-8-2 #328         
Standing with its steam up in the Marquette, Iowa yard is Milwaukee road heavyweight Mikado #328. Originally built by Alco-Brooks in September of 1918 as CM&StP #8619, it was renumbered in 1938 to MILW 328. The loco was retired in Octover of 1953 after nearly 35 years of dedicated service, . Specs - L3 class, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 27x32" cylinders, engine wt of 320,000 lb and tractive effort of 62,949 lb. This is a C. Cook photo.
