PRR 8849, AS-16MS, c. 1956
Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8849, an AS-16MS road switcher built by the American Locomotive Company in December of 1951 and rated at 1,600 horsepower. Looks to me like it's pulling a railfan excursion train. Wave to the Engineman! The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.
