PRR 5703, G-5S, 1946         
Here is a photo by H.L. Goldsmith that was taken in Morris Park, New York, on 5 March 1946. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5703, a G-5S (4-6-0) "Ten-Wheeler" built in Juniata during August of 1924 and retired in July of 1949 after 25 years of faithful service. In this context, it's assigned to the Long Island Rail Road. Gary Mittner Collection.
