A 70-300 mm zoom lens shot of NJT 4120 which coupled onto this historic train and will continue to Bay Head, NJ,where this line ends. NJT 4120 was built new for NJTransit in 1981 and rebuilt by Contrail in 1997. This engine and NJT 4119 aer aprt of a 17 unit order of F40PH-2 engines purchased ny NJT and to operate on their Newark Divsion Trains.source, my copy of "Meet The Heriateg Fleet" Historice Equipment Guide, publisehd by NJ Transit and given out Sunday October 1,2023 at Hoboken, NJ Station .
