NJT 4636  Contributor's Pick!       
55-200mm or 770 -300mm telephoto lens shot of NJT 4636 Pennsylvania Railroad. This unit was built by Bombadier in the 2000's and wrapped by NJ Transit Rail Operations in September of 2019. This locomotive wears the PRR's Tuscan Scheme to honor the GG1 locomotives that wer once used on this line. I remember the engine changes from when I was young. source of info. booklet "Meet the Heritage Fleet, Histoic Equipmetn Guide published by NJ Transit and given out Oct. 1,2023 at Hoboken Terminal. The roof of the old South Amboy Station can be seen to the right and behind the equipment shed. Train is pulling into South Amboy Station which is seen between the tracks. There were three tracks here back in another time.
