"Train Master Tribute," Front Cover, 1973         
Here is the front cover of a 16-page cover article by J. David Ingles entitled "Train Master Tribute: A 20-Year-Old In Twilight." It was published originally on the August 1973 issue of "Trains" magazine. The bottom photo depicts Fairbanks-Morse demonstrator TM-2, an H-24-66 Train Master built in April of 1953, rated at 2,400 horsepower, purchased by Wabash and numbered "551," rebuilt with an Alco engine and renumbered "599," then absorbed by N&W and renumbered "3599."
