| The second engine on a wesbound empty ethanol train. This one was a surprise to see. CSX had discarded all their C40-8's from the roster, selling them back to GE, who then sold 24 to Pan Am Railways. CSX got the locomotives back when it acquired the railroad in June 2022. It is now renumbered and has a new paint job. Former CSX 7627 built in August 1990. |
