One of the nearly 200 4-6-2 Pacifics in the Chicago & North Western fleets, this loco served for over 37 years in mostly commuter service. Built by Alco-Schenectady in December of 1915, it was later renumbered in 1952 to CNW #605. No final disposition date was found but most likely scrapped in late 1950's. Specs - serial #55535. class E, 75" drivers, 185 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylidners, engine wt of 261,000 lb, tractive effort of 36,700 lb. A stoker was applied in October of 1943.
