Built by Baldwin in January of 1904 as a compound 2-10-2 steam locomotive #956, it was later rebuilt and simplified in August of 1919 at the San Bernardino Shops. It went on in service until being sold for scrap on May 2, 1950 to the Finkelstein Supply Company. Rebuilt specs - 57" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 28x32" cylinders, engine wt of 317,400 lb, tractive effort of 74,800 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
