| At least seven newly-remanufactured Union Pacific AC4400CWM locomotives - including the 6899, 6904, 6915 and 6942 - were outside Wabtec’s plant at Fort Worth. All of these had been built in 1998 as 7500-series AC6000CW units and were renumbered when they were repowered with a 4400-horsepower prime mover. |
