| Parked outside the control tower at the Conway, PA, yard is the Conrail "OCS" - Office Car Special - aka business train, inspecition train, President's train. The loco was built in January of 1951 as PRR #5809 but bounced through the PC, Amtrack before hitting the Conrail roster. CR E8A #4022 was often paired with #4020. This slide was taken by Conrail conductor Ken Taylor. The date is based on the slide stamp so may not be accurate. |
