| The Railjet sets consist of individual carriages which are connected to one another with socket couplings and have normal screw couplings at the ends. This means that they can be covered with existing locomotives. Thanks to the rigid coupling between the cars, they could be provided with wide, pressure-tight car transitions. Fire protection doors, which are usually left open, are attached to the car transitions. |
