Portraits 10. Here is a steam locomotive portrait of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6726, an M-1A (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an M-1A during May of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in October of 1948, and retired in September of 1959 after 29 years of faithful service. Note that the main driving rods have been removed in preparation for movement to the recycling center. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (#54 of 72)
