Senga Butts General To bad they never got the Grinstein painted on more types. 1/1/1900 12:00:00 AM
Kevin Murray General I'm not sure I know all I should, but what are BNSF engines doing in NJ? I never would have thought they would go that far east! 12/28/2022 11:44:32 PM
Tom Beckett General Cool shot, too bad it's under the Turnpike!! To my mind, and there are many who disagree, the Grinstein scheme was quite attractive, much more so than the scheme on the trailing unit. Home page 12-31-2022 12/31/2022 5:15:53 AM
Senga Butts General I am sure others can explain it better than I can. Sometimes RRs find it more cost effective and effcient to let the original engines run all the way to the destnation (instead of switching them out when entering another RR trackage) It is like a "Credit" s{stem based on time the engines are another RRs routes in one way. The other RRs make up the difference with their shared equipment at some point. 1/6/2023 3:29:36 AM
