Here is the third of ten original photos by an unidentified photographer that were taken in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on 21 February 1948. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1146, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an H-8B during January of 1911, rebuilt in Juniata as an H-8SB in June of 1920, rebuilt as an H-9S in January of 1928, and retired in September of 1950 after39 years of faithful service.
